Panthers star Brian To’o has been seen bringing in the New Year with a rival club’s jersey on after his wife uploaded photos to social media showing the Penrith winger sporting a Bulldogs jersey.
While a puzzling choice, the picture isn’t likely to worry many Panthers fans, as it could be seen as a show of support to former teammates Stephen Crichton, Matt Burton and Viliame Kikau.
To’o’s close friend Jarome Luai is also being pursued by the Bulldogs, however is expected to link up with the Tigers on a five-year, $6 million deal.

To’o could be forced to apologise for the photo, much like Daine Laurie did to Wests Tigers fans a couple of years ago after being seen wearing a Penrith jersey when celebrating the 2021 Grand Final win.
After three seasons at the Tigers, Laurie will rejoin the Panthers in 2024.
To’o is in the midst of a long-term deal with the Panthers, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.
He and Luai only last week announced they were starting a fashion label called Universe 7.
“Doin’ something cool with the broski, run it up,‘ Luai posted on social media app Instagram.
“What up fam! Me and my boy about to run up our clothing brand so give us a follow and show some love @universe7even_ for more updates, big love,” To’o posted on his Instagram account.
